Simple Setup
How it Works
The Fetch solution is available to businesses through a simple HTTP API integration. Once an OBD II device is connected to your vehicle, here’s how it works:

The vehicle OBD II device sends the vehicle’s VIN to your server.
![group-4-copy-2](https://www.vinvox.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/group-4-copy-2.png)
Your server forwards the VIN to our Fetch server.

The Fetch server decodes the VIN and identifies your vehicle’s year, make and model.

The Fetch server sends the telematics parameters back to your server.

Your server then forwards that configuration to your vehicle’s OBD II device.

The OBD II device is now able to access the telematics data and report it to your application.
